I just finished her book. Originally with the sole purpose of finding out how exactly she got involved with Kanye. I was pleasantly surprised with how interesting the book was, which was basically her life story. Those of you with the same intentions as I did when I first picked it up, just know she doesn’t talk about him until the very last chapter.

But to summarize it basically after gaining notoriety from the success of Uncut Gems, it put her in the sights of many celebrities, Kanye being one of them. A mutual acquaintance asked for permission to give Kanye her number since he was requesting it. They start talking on the phone very often, eventually Kanye invites her out to Miami for a New Year’s party, she only agrees if Kanye also flies out each of her friends, which he does.

When Kanye invites her, he sends her a wardrobe that he picked out for her to wear at the party, which she claims that each different set were all different variations of the same outfit(That sounds EXACTLY like something Kanye would do). The first time they see each other in person is when she’s trying to enter the VIP area. They dance and then try to conversate in the loud party. He leads her out the back door where he proceeds to kiss her after drunkenly peeing on the side building while Julia blocked the view of the bystanders watching with their phones out….. Also somewhere in the middle of this event Kanye’s friend who is always around annoys Julia when he tells her “You doing way too much.” Julia pretty much hates him after this exchange.

After they start getting to know more about each other Kanye requests her to get a stylist and that he has to approve of everything she wears when they’re seen in public together (Also during this conversation he abruptly offers to get her a boob job). Julia notes how Kanye did the same thing with Kim in Keeping Up with the Kardashians (hiring her a stylist). Julia suggests her two friends for the job and Kanye hires them after seeing some of their work. Shortly after he requests that all of them including Julia sign an NDA. Julia obviously refuses.

When her birthday comes up Kanye gives her and her friends gift but records it. Having to do multiple takes of them reacting to the gifts because Kanye wasn’t satisfied with how it looked on camera. He also gives her a wardrobe to wear on her own birthday. At her party Kanye only stays a little while before telling her to come with him to another party. The people at this party barely acknowledge her while they talk about business. She abruptly leaves upset that he showed no respect for her birthday.

Their relationship is rocky after that. On the phone Kanye pleads for her not to leave, asking for support but Julia responds that he does not reciprocate support when she needs it. During this call Kanye reveals that Kim had her investigated and dug up information on her about how she was a former addict. Julia heartbrokenly exclaim that she already told him that but he didn’t listen. She hung up and publicly announced that they were no longer together.

And not long after Kanye is seen with Bianca…. With him keeping Julia’s two friends as her new stylists. One of them end up quitting. Julia cuts ties with the other one. And that’s the end of her relationship with Kanye.

Am I the only one feeling immense second hand embarrassment for Julia Fox. That whole interview where she claims to be Ye’s muse - plus the way she said “Uncut Gems” - is now living in my head rent free.

Like girl - you dated Ye for like 5 minutes - right up until he found out you shagged Drake

Plus there’s that Paris FW eye make-up. It really seems like she would have let him dress her up like Ronald McDonald if that’s what he wanted. Reeks of desperation.

But no no, she ain’t crying.
