I was extremely excited to finally see a glimpse of Dominion and was decently happy.. I am a huge fan to the Jurassic franchise even woth the recent movies being a little off. Seems like all the "correct" dinosaurs were part of the set up 65 million years ago. Drive in theater scene was fairly decent, looking forward to seeing how humans adapt with dinos. They also used footage from Battle At Big Rock, and a glimpse of new mosasuar footage! Very neato!

I love how they portray the Dinosaurs in that sequence. There is no bad guy and good guy mentality the other films tried to shove in. Dinosaurs are animals and should be portrayed that way. Rexy's ancestor was the aggressor while the Giganotosaurus was the victim of the attack. Both have their own stakes in this fight as they just want to survive. Then we cut to Rexy. I think the drive-in was not just a nod to how we usually watch movies but also show how completely ignorant and self-absorbed humans are. They still form a cluster despite there been a dinosaur epidemic going around. Kind of like a certain virus. And Rexy wasn't being an evil monster. She was scared and confused and the only reason she ran there is because the helicopter chased her there. Any human casualties is done by human hands, not Rexy's.

I’ve heard the general stuff that happens in it (prehistoric flashback, glimpse of Rexy in the present, montage of dinosaurs in the mainland)—but my question is: Does it feel like it spoils too much or is it a reasonable enough sampling to get you hyped for the movie coming out?
