I am in the process of trying to find a good Shikibuton and Kakebuton in the US. https://www.futonbedsfromjapan.com/ seems to be mentioned a lot in the r/minimalism subreddit, but I wanted to get a different take on here before I drop nearly $1000.

Does anyone have better options in the US? I don't mind spending the money, but I want to make sure what I am buying is actually worth it. $1000 seems a little pricey to me, but I am no expert.
