The lamp was defective. The bottom is supposed to be soldered, and it popped out, so the lamp wont stay up. Their technician came to my house and CONFIRMED that the lamp was defective. Kanes refused to replace the lamp because its an accessory, and they only issue replacements on furniture only, even when they sell defective items.
