November sales just started at my local piano shop and for the budget I had for the CA401 (~$2500) I can now get a CA501 whereas the CA401 is now around $2000.
So I checked the MSRP and I was blown away by how MUCH more expensive those same models are in the US...like, how? It's not like they're made in the EU so it's cheaper? If anything, it's usually the EU that has the same product for much more money. What's going on? (And no, it's not a scam, they're the official dealer for Kawai in Croatia)
PS. While I'm here, is it worth it to get the CA501 over the CA401 for that budget? It's my very first piano, I'm a beginner and just wanted a really good action, both models are the same in that particular respect
[EDIT: bought the CA401 just a few hours ago, I figure the upgrade doesn't really matter if I'm just starting out. Can't wait to start my journey]
