A game changer would be more granular control over the fill features. I ended up disabling all fill features, since they end up being so annoying in the context of modern work which is all about the SaaS apps, tons of online tools with fields and forms. Imagine being able to disable for parts of a site, for certain pages / directories / subdomains, or even to be able to disable for certain fields. In addition being able to mark an account as "primary" in the case we have multiple accounts for the same service for example Gmail, so that it doesn't just pick the top one on alphabetical order. Or to disable fill for specific records completely while keeping it on for other records. Answer from RasaService on reddit.com

Chrome extension repeatedly disappearing, corrupted -- possible security risk?
I've seen the extension icon disappear from the browser extension bar a number of times on Chrome and Chromium based browsers. There is a blank space where it should be. Restarting the browser usually makes it show back up. If that didn't work, clearing cache and restarting did the trick. One of my many OCD topics is password managers, and I've done a fair bit of testing on most of the major ones. Keeper, being my favorite and most secure password manager choice, is also the only one I've noticed this behavior with. Though I don't think the extension is getting corrupted, there is something goofy going on with memory management with the browser extension. I've also noticed very strange behavior when I accidentally have more than one password manager enabled, especially with 1Password also running, as it likes to take over the browser. I'm guessing password managers are competing against the same resources within the browser as they need access above tab containers - though I'm not a browser developer so that is just a guess on my part. The two issues may be related. More on reddit.com

How to make Keeper the default password manager in Chrome?
It’s not a special arrangement they have, it’s a permission that an extension can request, to control browser settings. Since we have had our extension in the chrome store for 10+ years, we didn’t want to request too many permissions from the user, and it risks popping up a permission request for millions of people, causing confusion etc. To turn off Google password manager, just go to Chrome > Settings > Autofill & Passwords > Google Password Manager > Settings > and disable the option to "Offer to save passwords". Business customers can enforce Keeper as the password manager through group policy which is what they typically do. More on reddit.com

Keeper extension in Chrome disappears from the pinned list every few days. Chrome says it is corrupted and starts to function again after I install a new download. What could be wrong? Any possibility of attempted hack? What actions can I take to be safe?

Keeper for Safari App - App Store
I wish that there was a protocol designed in the password filler function on the iPhone to refresh Keeper when it searches for a password so that I don’t have to manually refresh it each time. With that resolved, I would give it 5 stars. Also, Keeper no longer works on Edge to autofill passwords. I had to switch to Chrome for that reason.

r/KeeperSecurity on Reddit: How to make Keeper the default password manager in Chrome?
February 17, 2024 -

I recently switched our family's long-standing plan from 1Password to Keeper Security. In addition to a previously mentioned issue about a missing popup window in okta.com, I've noticed a difference in integration capabilities between the two services. 1Password could set itself as the default password manager in Chrome, a status confirmed in the browser's settings where it's noted that "This setting is controlled by 1Password." However, such an option appears to be absent for Keeper. This situation has led me to speculate whether 1Password has a special arrangement with Google, granting it certain advantages not available to other password managers. Could this potentially be the reason behind the popup window problem I've experienced, or does it indicate a unique technical capability that only 1Password possesses?
