Good shit. There's so much general apprehension about belt sharpening in these subs, so it's nice to have more people showing process and results with belts. With a little knowledge, they aren't the heat-treat-ruining demons everyone makes them out to be, and they can create crazy sharp edges as good as any other method. I can get to hair splitting on contact and even tree topping on even the stock work sharp belts, and the edges hold up just fine in use. I can do the same free hand or on fixed angle systems, but belts are far and away the most efficient. And they're pretty versatile for modding and such, too. I'm now in the process of upgrading to 1x30 systems and bringing in buffing wheels. Be warned- it becomes a rabbit hole to pro status pretty quickly. More on reddit.com

I like the grinder attachment as well. I highly recommend this jig/riser for it. It makes keeping the angle so easy a blind person could sharpen a knife.
