You can also find other sets that support many layouts. As long as you don't buy some cheap oem keycap set, you should be fine. MT3 is my favorite profile. My only complaint is they still haven't made it so I can order each part of the kit independently. I'd love to add some red modifiers to my BoW kit alphas, but they're not available.

There are a lot of choices! There are two difficulties with the Alt. One, the north-facing switches, which prevent Cherry profile keycaps from working perfectly with most switches, instead causing the keycap to grind against the switch housing. The other difficulty with the Alt is the 1.75u right shift. Any keycap set in a profile other than Cherry, and with a 1.75u shift key, will work perfectly fine with the Alt!
