I'm generally new to the keyboard community and I don't know which sites to go looking for custom keycaps. Thank you
Does anyone know where i can get keycaps in Canada (Toronto)? I always see videos on them and shipping to Canada is always like $20+ from sites like mechanicalkeyboards (not really worth when i wanna order like 3 sets of 4 pieces). So does anyone know where i can get them for cheaper or even free to Canada?
I recently just bought myself a new QFR with blue switches and i want to make my own keycap set. Im planning on doing a portal themed one ( so 3 different colours) and i want all blanks. I know there is WASD as an option though being a canadian its a little pricey for me ( around 75$) i was wondering if there are any better options for places to buy from
Thank you!
Not if you want a custom design. WASD is one of the few shops that does one-off custom sets.
Hell, replacement keycaps in general are a pain for Canadians. Aside from the odd set on Amazon, Newegg.ca or NCIX, you're going to have to go through a US retailer (massdrop, signature plastics/pimpmykeyboard, etc.) or eBay.
As previously mentioned, Banggood has a set of PBT blanks for dirt cheap. Like $22CAD. I've never ordered from them, though.
A slightly more expensive option is at geekkeys.com. That set worked out to be about $40CAD for me. Geekkeys.com also has a set of thick pbt caps that are quite popular, but they're about twice the price, so about $70 shipped.
