First of all, huge thanks to u/chimera86o for selling the keyboard and switches to me. They were great, and no issues at all with the keeb. It's in perfect mint condition, and all accessories are intact. I highly recommend him for anything you might need.
Coming to the keyboard, here is my review after a month of use:
The keyboard is sturdy with great build quality
The switches are Akko cream yellow, and the keys have no rattle when attached.
I feel the stock foam is mediocre and very thin, making the sound a bit too high and hollow. Hence, I have personally modded the keeb. I did the tempest tape mod and the foam mod. I bought some art foam from here and cut one piece into the shape for the back. I also put 2 layers of medical tape on the back of the PCB. This reduced the high-pitched clacks of the keeb, and now has a medium poppy sound. Interested can see the sound test here.
One super fact about the keeb is that the dimensions of this keeb with the feet placement make it perfectly seat on top of my MacBook Air M1 without pressing any of my laptop's keys. That way, you can use this keeb connected to your laptop and have the laptop on your lap while working (My ways of working :P)
The keycaps I use are Grimmer Keycaps, which make the sound deeper. It's an XDA profile, which I recommend for "on-the-lap" use and gaming.
The knob has a bit too much bump per turn for my preference and is not as smooth as a Monsgeek M1 knob.
The modding process was easy, and opening the board was also pretty easy. No prying is needed.
Do let me know if there's any other feedback you would like based on the keeb. Once again, thanks to u/chimera86o for the main board and switches.

Hi, I'm interested in buying one of the Q series Keychron keyboards. Can you please tell me what are the main differences between the Q1 V1 and V2 models? Also, is it worth paying extra for the V2 version? Additionally, I would like to know if the only difference between the Q1 Pro and the other models is its wireless feature.
I'm just trying to figure out which one overall has the better stock quality. I plan on using the board as is for awhile before I start modifying things. I also saw the switches come prelubed which I know is frowned upon in the Mechanical Keyboard community but I figure some lube is better than none.
Which do you guys think is the better stock experience if I don't plan on using the bluetooth at all? (I figure the bluetooth just wont last that long if I'm using the RGB 24/7)
Hello people,
I've been researching the mechanical keyboards, and I came to a conclusion to get either a Q1 version 2, or a Q3.
I have no preference between 75% and TKL, both are perfectly fine.
What I would like to hear from you is how satisfied are you with your Q1/Q3, does one have a better sound isolation, less ping, etc. Which one is easier to mode to have better acoustics?
It would be perfect to have someone who typed on both Q1 and Q3.
Thanks a lot!
