Keychron Silent Switch - Banana
What switches can go in a Keychron C1? : MechanicalKeyboards
What do you guys recommend, brand-wise, for switches?

I'm going to buy Keychron keyboard and I'm considering Q7 or Q2, but I can't decide what switches to choose and actually I don't know differences between them very well. I'll be using it for gaming and sometimes long typing sessions. Any suggestions? Also, is there big difference between pro and normal version of keychron switches?
Hello, I am thinking of buying a mechanical keyboard (Keychron Q1 Pro). There are three types of switches from which I can choose: Red, Brown, Banana. I have never tried any of them and I cannot really tell how they really feel based on videos / text. What would be your go-to switches and why did you make that choice? Thank you.
Hey everyone,
I just got the Keychron Silent Banana switches and wanted to share my first impressions, especially since I haven't seen many posts about them.
I'm not an expert, I've been using a Das Keyboard 4 Pro (Cherry MX Browns) for the last 6+ years. I bought all of these products myself, and this is not a sponsored post.
First Impressions:
Wow, these are quiet! I put them in my new Keychron Q0 Max numpad, and they're even quieter than I expected. The tactile bump also feels more satisfying than I thought it would. It's a huge improvement for my setup, as I teach English online and want a silent keyboard for use during lessons.
I'm eagerly waiting for my Q65 Max keyboard and Cerakey ceramic keycaps to arrive to complete the build!
Sound Comparison Video:
I recorded a quick video on my phone comparing three switches:
-
Keychron Silent Banana
-
Cherry MX Brown (from my Das Keyboard)
-
Gateron Jupiter Red Axis (stock switches from the Q0 Max)
It's not a professional recording, but you can clearly hear the difference. Happy to answer any questions you might have.
p.s. Apologies if the 'Builds' flair is wrong, I'm new here!
Edited for brevity.
