Hello all! I am in the process of a renovation where it occurred to me that this would be the perfect time for me to add cat6 wire everywhere while my walls are open.
I've watched a few videos online as my knowledge is limited when it comes to networking, and seems like it should be straight forward enough to complete. I am however not certain which equipment to use exactly. I have found various kinds of 1000ft cat6 wire on amazon all for different prices, and I cant seem to tell the difference. I'll try link a couple here, from what I can tell from the rules here I'm allowed to.

My idea is to simply run wire to 7ish rooms and create a single cat6 wall port jack in each of those rooms, then have all those wires lead into a room in my basement, where I'll then connect them accordingly into my router / switches if necessary. Let me know if this seems like it checks out.
Any advice / recommendations would be appreciated!
