Keywords Everywhere uses Google's data to present search volumes. It makes clear in its T&Cs that it does not sell data on. Data cannot be used this way without explicit and active consent from users (at least in the EU due to GDPR anyway, which most countries adhere to due to the law of highest regulation). There is no third party programme listed as a data processor or subprocessor, which is a legal requirement in almost every country for things like this, including GDPR. The tool simply does not do what you think it does, and you'd have to be very conspiratorial (the tool is all lying to you! ...but nobody else has cottoned on and sued...) to say otherwise. I'd be interested who the 'program' is you've referenced, and why you think KWE is selling (obviously non-standard harvested search) data. Particularly because KWE includes no personally identifiable information about each searcher, the only thing you know is that this is what people in SEM commonly search for. Which is of extremely limited use (not even SEO agencies care about what other SEO agencies search for). This post seems entirely wrong and conspiracy-theory-laden. More on reddit.com
