I don’t think so. The tatami room one is nice, but it also has a 6-8 week delivery time. I’ve heard they are quite sturdy, but haven’t seen one in person. Also, on paper, I noticed that the dimensions of the tatami room tall tatami bed are about 1 inch wider than the Thuma, if that matters to you. If I recall correctly, the tall tatami bed has about 10 inches of clearance, vs 9 inches for the Thuma. The only other option is to check places like Etsy. You will find some really nice wood beds there, but likely will be spending twice as much as the Thuma. The difference is you will get real walnut wood vs stained wood on the Thuma. Im happy with the Thuma. I like the way the headboard looks relative to the tatami room one. I ordered on a Monday and received it two days later. Very sturdy and very easy to put together (It took longer to take everything out of the packaging than it took to put the bed together). More on reddit.com

Not what you're asked exactly but: We bought a double and semi-double frame and mattress sets of the same model and strapped them together. Much easier to find the right sized sheets and blankets, turn mattresses when cleaning, fit mattresses into the house etc. And cheaper than importing the big sizes or buying the largest models. Size comes out to a little over 200x200. Hell, buy two doubles and make a mega-sized bed. It's also nice because either of us can toss 'n turn or get up to go to the bathroom and won't wake the other up with movement. More on reddit.com

I've been looking for a new bed frame and headboard for years at this point and nothing quite fit what we were looking for until I landed on the Thuma (spoiler we didn't get a Thuma). Before pulling the trigger and buying it since it is pretty expensive I decided to search around for other places that sell Japanese joinery bed frames. That's it for now. I did find one or two other Japanese joinery-style bed frames but didn't include them because it seemed like a one-off product that was always out of stock so I doubt you could actually get it.
So what did we pick? We ordered the Big Fig. Main factors were Cal king, 2000 lbs weight capacity, it was a little taller than some of the other beds so there is definitely room for storage, and the headboard is taller. I read a lot about Thuma and the headboard being kind of short especially if you have a taller mattress and add pillows. I thought that would look a bit weird and the Big Fig has a taller headboard.
