I’m beginning to think I’m losing my mind. I bought a 12.5 Tog feather duvet from IKEA, 240 x 220 cm. I also bought two sets of bedding, from IKEA, at the same size, 240 x 220 cm
So why is it that the duvet is too small for the duvet cover?! They should be the same size but I still have about 10cm of flappy duvet at the edge. I’m guessing the bottom of the duvet is where the label is, so I’ve got that on the same edge as the bedding fasteners, and I just can’t figure out what the issue is. Have I put the duvet in wrong? Is this a common issue? Can anyone save me from the sensory sin that is a sad flappy duvet cover?!
From some of the old posts here, the cool ones are either not in king, or discontinued, or may be of lower quality. Any help is appreciated, AC bills are too high in this heat wave, and the regular (down) comforter from Macys that has served us well is too warm now. We have gotten used to the weight of a comforter and like it so going with just sheets or something else is not really an option.
