Although I understand that it’s probably to do with legal issues, it’s extremely disappointing to have the community voices removed.

1. Search up "Kits.ai (CHARACTER)" on Google

2. Pray (optional)

3. Click on search results from or involving kits.ai if you find any

4. If that doesn't work, put the character's name after "https://app.kits.ai/convert/shared/", replacing spaces with -, and access the link (example: https://app.kits.ai/convert/shared/super-mario or just https://app.kits.ai/convert/shared/mario)

If that doesn't work, then there's nothing more you can do.

Honest opinions?

I want to release my songs with my own singing voice. However although I am usually a decent singer in terms of amdram and on stage and in pubs, my singing in recording is not great. I get choked up and my recordings sound cringe. For starters I don't have great recording equipment. No matter what editing I do in Bandlab, when i record songs, it just sounds awful to me (I'm using my phone to record, my mic is even worse). It could be I'm my own worse critic but I'm worried I'll ruin my own songs with my own voice.

So I thought about voice cloning but both Weights and Jammable, I dunno, just sounds so.....fake....I can tell so easily its not really me. Its my voice but something is off. Someone suggested I try Kits which is way more expensive. Does Kits really sound realistic? It looks more expensive than Jammable and Weights but I worry I don't wanna spend a fortune on Kits and then find out it still sounds so obviously fake. My friends and family I wanna share my songs with I don't want it to be too obvious its not me really singing it. How is people's experience with voice cloning from Kits?

So I've been using kits.ai for about 2 months now, and I thought it was amazing at first. But now, as a free user, it's getting harder and harder to use it. The most recent updates with limited YouTube uses and Conversion Minutes (which if I'm correct, you only get 15 of them every MONTH and each conversion takes around 2-5 minutes which is OUTRAGEOUS considering with this you only get around 6 conversions per month (usually even LESS)) are making me really annoyed and I don't want to pay (at the MINIMUM) 10 dollars to do stuff I could've done for free a month ago. Does anyone have any good alternatives to kits.ai which aren't like this? I get that they need to make money to keep it going and stuff, but seriously. I'd rather deal with ads on the site than this.

go to the wayback machine and put in the Kits.AI community voices page url and then find a day before it got removed. Then it shows every character that was on that page. just press one then it will take u to that page on the Wayback machine and then just copy the page url and paste it into your browser and then its on that characters page.

Im still trying to find out how to search characters up, i think theres a way.

I encourage everyone to share their favorite voices here. No matter if the community tab was removed or not, we are still a community and should just start a thread sharing all our saved voices for anyone to use here. with enough people, we could literally just rebuild the community tab here.

I saw a video on YouTube of someone showing this workflow (i.e. using Kits.ai to replace the vocal generated in Udio or Suno), but so far I'm not finding it at all usable. Even when I separate the stems on kits.ai and then do the conversion from the vocal track by itself, the vocals results in awful glitches. Kits.ai just doesn't read the base audio cleanly enough. It's not just a problem with my voice model, as their own royalty-free models have the same issue.

Is anyone else using this workflow, and if so, how are you managing to get something that works? I did try separating stems outside of kits.ai, but so far the results don't appear to be better.

I do get somewhat better results with conversion using the Replay app instead of Kits.ai, but it is extremely slow. It took a lot of hours to train my first model based on just a couple minutes of audio (much longer than it took kits.ai to train on the ~20 minute audio file I recorded later), and then it's extremely slow processing the conversion once that's done. (I'm sure this is related to the fact that I don't have a really high end GPU.)

The gnarpy AI voice bank I previously used on kits.ai was privated so no one can use it anymore (to my understanding), do yall know of any of gnarpy AI voice banks I could use for free? I am so sad… I wanted to make them sing and express themselves with BRAVERY and true passion… but my beloved baby cat has been stripped of their voice… truly heartbroken. Need a new one.. u_u When I try to use to one on kits.ai, I’m met with this message: “This private model is locked by the owner. Convert with a different model.” Truly a huge loss for regretevator fans near and far!!!

I'm pretty sure most people know how greedy kits.ai is right? Well, get this, You can't download any audio if you're using the free version. Now, there may be a way to get around this but I haven't checked yet. This is company is bottom of the barrel greed man
