Does anyone know what's going on with the app?
Overall I'm pretty happy with my T5 neckband. Multipoint works well and the handoff between my work and personal phones (Pandora on phone one, call comes in on phone two, Pandora pauses, take call, end call later, Pandora on phone one resumes) is good. Budlocks really keep the buds in my ear and helped fill out the low end by limiting how far the factory buds can compress when inserted into my freakishly large ear canals. Battery life is good and lives up to my expectations - the long advertised life is one of the reasons for my purchase.
My cons all seem to be software related. One of my phones is an iPhone and the other is a Pixel. Both experience some level of suddrn Bluetooth drops for no apparent reason. The iPhone is worse, but I do more of my calling with it. Mid sentence I'll get the call end sound on the headset and the phone will still be going without the headset. The easiest way of reconnecting when this occurs is to power cycle the headphones. Attempting to reconnect from the phone never seems to work.
The other thing that could use tweaking is the microphone. Occasionally some people have a hard time hearing me and other times they don't. I suspect it has something to do with an ambient noise reduction algorithm.
I'm really hoping that a firmware update will help with one or both issues.
