When you deliver a return to Whole Foods or the USPS, do you repackage it for delivery? I saw a Gen Z girl just plop a couple of open bags of clothes on the USPS counter, whip out her QR code, and act all frustrated when the worker told her she needed to at least tape it up.
For the first time, returning an Amazon purchase to Kohl’s was presented as an option on the app. It worked out well. I took the stuff to CS, no packaging, presented the QR code in an email sent by Amazon and I was done in 10 seconds. I got a 25% off coupon for a Kohl’s purchase. This will definitely drive traffic to Kohl’s.
I needed to return floor mats that I did not need anymore and saw that Kohls seemed to be a quick, easy and hassle free option to return the package as I have a Kohls very close to where I live. I went into the store and was met by a fairly rude older lady behind the return counter. I saw her check in one of the boxes but didn't do anything with the other box other than setting aside. I asked if she needed to do anything about it and she just told me she'd take care of it. Was my first time returning through Kohls so I said whatever.
The next day I called Khols because I saw that only one of the packages was refunded back to me. They apologized and submitted a return for me. Fast forward a few months and Amazon has charged my card again because they never received one of the returned items. I'm pretty sure Kohls never registered one of the return boxes and lost it. Is there anything I can do?
The following is a screenshot of the returns in question. As you can see the first package was processed fine but the second package was never received by Amazon. https://imgur.com/a/m0E9YfW
EDIT: I contacted Amazon directly and they refunded me back again without much fuss. The Customer Service rep said I didn't have to worry about it anymore but the item still shows up in my orders as "in transit". I just hope a few months later I don't get charged again and have to go through this again...
I got a dress and tights that did not fit me for Halloween, they also came late. But I tried on the dress, then immediately took it off, but I lost the clear plastic it came in, it has it tags in it but I only have the outside Amazon packaging with the labels on it! Will I still be able to return the dress without the manufacturers original packaging?
