I highly doubt they would repair. It's probably far more cost effective to just ship you a new sink entirely than it is to have a network of techs capable of handling service calls shipping the sink means you as the customer have to deal with all that comes with replacing it and may consider not even contacting them for a warranty claim in the first place offering repair services means every customer with an issue will be calling asking for service repairs. i also don't really see it being an easy task to get them to honor the warranty due to a chip that's so easily chalked up to accidental abuse More on reddit.com

They’re excellent. You have to be the one who had it installed originally. In other words, if it was put in by you, or a plumber you hired, it’s guaranteed, even if it was a long time ago. If it was already installed when you bought the house, they’ll still help you, but the parts won’t be free.

Our enameled cast iron sink from Kohler (less than 1 year old) apparently chipped after our cleaning person was here. From what I've read, I could call Kohler and they would send a new sink due to their lifetime warranty. However, this is an extremely heavy undermount sink, and every person we've spoken to (including the original granite installers) said they would not replace an undermount sink, especially not a heavy cast iron like this. The risk of damaging the granite is too high. So, that means I'm stuck with trying to repair it. Does Kohler offer repairs or just replacements? Do I try to find a company that specializes in surface repairs? Or do I go the DIY route with a kit from Amazon? I want to get this right because it's our kitchen sink that we had hoped would last for years to come and clearly it cannot be replaced.

You might create a separate post on how to best fix the chip. Include a few pics. You might get some good advice that will better inform which way you want to go here. I do know that small or superficial chips can be repaired reasonably well with epoxy, but it also depends on whether any rust has set in.
