It has been a while since I had to purchase a large faucet, and I know over the years the quality of certain brands is not quite what they were in the past.
Looking to get a high spout faucet for a farmhouse style sink, and I pretty much narrowed it down to a Kraus (this or this) or a Kohler (this).
I prefer the aesthetics of the Kraus, but it seems to be about half the price of the Kohler. I know it's not the world's best metric, but I kind of expect a good quality large kitchen faucet - that is going to last and actually have all the features work - should cost more than that. So I have some apprehension about buying it, since I'm really not a fan of frequent repairs, or complete replacement, down the line, and prefer to front load all my costs.
Just curious if this sub has any consensu opinion on these brands/models that might be helpful? Thanks.
Anyone used Kraus? I’m a delta fan usually, but after looking at delta, moen, Kohler, pfister and American standard, I can’t find faucets I like.
So I stumbled upon Kraus faucets, and I like the looks...
How are they quality wise? I don’t want to trade quality for looks..

Pretty much the title - if we’re still in this house in 5 years we might want to do a more formal kitchen overhaul, but for now we just want to paint and update some things that aren’t working great (including the kitchen faucet).
We’re liking that sort of industrial pull-down gooseneck style but most of them are $$$ and also too big for the space.
The Kraus Borden seems like a good move. Internet reviews are largely positive, and it’s considerably less expensive than some of the others. But we’ve never done this before and we’ve never heard of Kraus —
I’m more inclined to trust Reddit internet strangers than Amazon reviews so: have you had any notable experience with Kraus as a brand or Pulldown faucets in general?
I need to replace my kitchen sink and faucet. I’d like to purchase at Costco if possible.
They only sell Kohler, Kraus or Delta at this time.
Which one would you recommend from BIFL perspective, or is it too specific to the individual model to make such a general recommendation of brand?
Thank you!

Trying to get a new cartridge for one right now and they are asking for videos showing low flow from the faucet. So now I have to go back, re-assemble the faucet, take a video. Just seems like an odd ask. Can you actually identify flow from photos?
Replacing bathroom sink and shower. How’s Kraus.

We're replacing our sink and faucet when we get new counters and I'm having a hell of a time picking out a faucet. There are so many brands, only a few of which I've heard of. I know I want a sprayer and single hot/cold control, but what are some other considerations I might not be considering? Are there any particulars that I should look out for, either positive or negative? Do the luxury models perform better to justify the extra expense or is it mostly aesthetics? What advice do you have from your experiences?
I like the look a lot. Looks like they’re on sale soon. Considering one for my kitchen remodel next summer.
Can anyone recommend a kitchen faucet that they’ve tried and has worked well? Every single faucet I look at online has 50/50 reviews. Some reviews will say it’s amazing and others will say flimsy and cheap.
We are looking for a pull down type faucet and I’m planning on installing myself.
We're looking to install a commercial-style spray faucet in our kitchen. I like the look of this Kraus faucet they're selling at Home Depot, but I've never heard of this brand. Any experience? What about repair parts - gaskets and whatnot. I've always used Kohler and Delta faucets, and parts for those are available everywhere.

My Kraus Oletto pull-down faucet started to leak before the spray head fully detached. It fell off at the ball joint connector, attached by a silicon gasket, ring & washer. This metal piece should be attached to the hose on one side & threaded into the head on the other. These parts don’t seem like they should’ve come off and aren’t broken down in the installation guide and I don’t know what i’d need to replace. Do I need to get a new hose and/or new spray head? Or could I change out the silicon pieces and try to attach it back to the ball joint?
I’ve googled around and can’t find replacement parts or if this is possible. The warranty was voided as I’m not the original buyer.
I have a client looking at krauss sink faucets witch I’m not familiar with. Are they any good?
I have a new Kraus kitchen sink faucet. I hooked up red marked hose to hot water and blue to cold. What is strange with this faucet is that lever all the way down is hot and up (parallel to faucet is cold). My previous faucet was the opposite. I can train myself. But wonder if I have guests etc. Is this normal/new norm?
Could I reverse the cold/hot hoses? Meaning, is there anything special inside the faucet like washers etc that are different on hot vs cold?
