Desk is made from white ash with floating tenon joinery. Drawers are handcut dovetails. The top sections are attached with figure 8 fasteners to allow seasonal wood movement. I wanted the desk to be flexible for wherever it might live in the future. The smaller section is completely independent of the longer section. The drawers can be put on the other side so the long section can go on any wall in a corner. The back has a removable false front so the desk can sit executive style in the middle of the room.
