I can't pronounce the letter L
So, many English accents actually have 2 different "l"s, and it seems you can pronounce one of them fine. There is one at the start of syllables, called "light" or "clear l", and that's the one in "unless" (I assume you have no problems with "leaf" or "lava"?). At the ends of syllables, we get "dark" l, which is kind of a cross between an "l" and a "g" (it involves something called "velarization", where the back of the tongue lifts up towards the fleshy part at the top of the back of the mouth - not the uvula, but in front of it). You can try to make it easier to practice by finding words that end in "lg" or "lk" - even if you make them up (it's not a common ending in English). Try words like "bolg", "telk", etc. For what it's worth, I have trouble with too many "l"s next to each other. "Lily" is a word that I trip over every single time. Good luck! More on reddit.com
