[Laptop] ASUS Zenbook 14.5" OLED i7-13700H 16GB RAM 512GB SSD - $699.99
I bought this specific laptop at release for $999, been using it for 2 months now.
Quite happy with it, the screen is the best thing about it. OLED is the way to go nowadays for laptops imo.
No issues at all with thermals, even with load it doesn't get unbearably hot.
Battery life is decent. I have to compromise a bit on brightness/refresh rate on battery power in order to get decent battery life but the screen is still very good with lower brightness and not full 120Hz.
Keyboard is quite good too, no issues with flex or typing. The trackpad keypad thing is actually useful too.
No fingerprint but it does have Windows Hello.
Downside is soldered RAM and integrated graphics but 16GB is pretty decent for general productivity. For $700 this is a good deal if you're not looking to do much gaming.

The 3060 at almost $1k is still a significant ouch. Other than that...
