I'm in the market for a new laptop and could use some suggestions. My main work involves data engineering and network engineering tasks, so I need something robust and reliable. Here's what I'm looking for:
Minimum 32GB RAM

New only.Specs requirements
Touchscreen with stylus support (though I presume all touchscreen support stylus (?)
CPU: i7 or above
Screen Size: 15 inch, but anything bigger than 14 inch and <=16 inch is okay.
RAM: 32GB or above
Storage: 1TB SSD (more is ok)
Weight: less than 2kg (4.4 lbs) (lesser is better of course :))
All the specs above are mandatory
Current Research - super confusing because some brands have diff laptop sizes but not all websites show that (thus I appreciate any 2-cents)
Dell XPS 15
Lenovo Slim 7 Pro X
Dell Inspiron 16 2-in-1 Laptop
HP Spectre x360 16
Lenovo Yoga 7i
Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5
Lenovo ThinkPad Z16
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 (2022)
Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360
Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 (15-Inch)
Microsoft Surface Laptop 5
Microsoft Surface Laptop 4
Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio
I am open to more suggestions. Also, amongst the laptops here, are there any that failed my criteria? (Sorry because the websites are super confusing)
Any feedback or thoughts on how I should decide? My priority is definitely specs, and I'll go in-store to try once I finalized a few models.
Thank you so much!
Hi guys, my lenovo yoga has stopped working, and I'm looking to get a good 2-in-1. I found this HP in another thread and was wondering if there are better or alternative deals: https://www.amazon.com/HP-Pavilion-Touchscreen-i5-1235U-Windows/dp/B0C6N96PML
I'm looking for 32/64gb ram, 1tb+ ssd, touch screen, good battery life, and new (or used/refurbished with some kind of warranty). having a stylus or gpu are extra.
I'll use it for work initially, but would make it my personal laptop once I get another. Thanks a lot.
