November 23, 2022I need rug ideas! 8x10 is the size I’m looking for. Curtains and throw pillows are powder blue, but I think a blue rug would be overwhelming. Preferably the rug would be $300 or less.
Don’t ignore the bricks color...it’s a soft terracotta and would be a nice accent color in your room. Shop for a rug that has sofa color, pale blue, and a touch of this terra-cotta color. Might be tough! I always advise clients to start with a rug and build up! Whatever color you finally choose for rug, just be sure to repeat it in pillows, art, throws...makes it cohesive. Costco has some super soft rugs for cheaper than usual, but I’m not sure an 8x10 is going to be under $200. If it’s under $200 it’s probably not going to feel squishy. However, I wonder if you could get some type of foam pad for under it if you find a cheaper rug that’s not as squishy. More on reddit.com
