I can log into lastpass on my phone with my fingerprint because I enabled biometrics but, because I've been using my finger so long I have forgotten my master password. I want to change it since I have access to the account and I'm logged in (verified) by fingerprint but it still wants my old password. Is there anyway to reset the master password if you don't have the old password but still can get in with your fingerprint? I once had biometics stop working on my phone and had to delete the entire account. I don't want that to ever happen again but need to add a lot of important passwords. I'm not going to use Lastpass if it's possible losing my phone or whatever means I lose ALL my passwords. Any ideas?

As you all know, LastPass takes away the burden of remembering passwords – and getting locked out of your accounts. But what if you forget your LastPass Master Password? That’s the one password you still need to remember, and as a direct result of our Zero Knowledge security model, resetting it is not as easy as on an ordinary website.

Enter Account Recovery on Mobile. Available on iOS Testflight and the Android Beta channels, users who have downloaded and logged into the LastPass iOS/Android beta apps can recover their accounts very easily.

Note: at this time, we only recommend testing this feature with two-factor authentication disabled. This limitation will be lifted in the final version of the feature.

To enable and test account recovery, follow these steps:

1 - Enable Mobile Account Recovery in the Security menu
2 - Log out and press “Forgot Password” on the login screen
3 - Enter your email and press “Recover Account”
4 - Confirm your fingerprint and then enter your new master password. That’s it!
5 - Now log in with your new master password

The LastPass mobile team

So I lost access to the email associated with my lastpass with no way to recover it since I've never set backup options on it and I haven't had the phone number associated with it for years. Luckily I had an export backup, so I created a new lastpass account and all's well.

Since I would like to permanently delete my old lastpass account, which requires that I have access to to my email if I don't have my master password, I went ahead and tried to recover my lastpass account through the biometric recovery. I keep getting an error message saying "looks like something went wrong." How can I fix this error? I have an android note 10 and it is up to date.
