I mean, it's really up to Google to allow it. I remember when uBlock Origin's new version was blocked and the dev had to wait 2+ days for a human contact because all he was getting was an automatic response. It's a terrible fuck up, but some of you act like you install the extension every day. If you haven't had the extension installed 1.5 days ago, you probably didn't need it so much for it to be "unbearable" right now. All passwords are accessible through their website anyway. Yes, that's how it works. Your computer must be physically secured when LastPass is logged in. The default "forever logged-in" state is ideal for home use. If your physical location is not safe (e.g. workplace), you can set LastPass to auto logout on idle. Or just lock your OS when you're away. Chrome doesn't show your password but still autofills it whenever someone goes to a website you use. And some sites' (including Google's) password field can be set to "show password". Also, by default Chrome doesn't do zero-knowledge encryption, meaning Google knows all your passwords. More on reddit.com
