From our previous experience this is generally a nightmare. With perhaps the internal person not managing it correctly, going unused by majority of staff, and then us footing blame.

I'm an IT manager leaving our current MSP. Everything can be deactivated, uninstalled, or transferred to our ownership except LastPass? I'm not looking forward to exporting and importing user passwords. Anyone done this before?

Take this opportunity to get the hell away from LastPass. Other legitimate password managers have migration tools that specifically import from LastPass. It's very easy to do.

Unless there is some weird way the MSP staged their LP environment, you can transfer ownership of a LP tenant. I do recall it being (at least back when I worked with it) a bit of a pain in the ass, so the MSP just may not want to do this for a client leaving. I wish you luck!
