I'm new to this subreddit but I did search old posts and scan the newer ones. Yet, I'm sure this has probably been asked and answered before so please forgive me if this is an annoying question!
That said, about a month ago, LastPass got really difficult with filling forms in my browser. Sometimes it will, but about half the time it won't - or it will only fill the username, but not the password.
Is there something I should check on my end, or is this a problem a lot of people are having?

Umm despite Lastpass not getting great press lately (whether they deserve it or not), I would be very skeptical that the problem is Lastpass. First look at your browser. See if you have updated or changed any privacy settings etc. Perhaps Microsoft (etc) did that _for_ you - not uncommon these days. Then clear your caches. YES, ALL of it. Your passwords are in Lastpass, it's OK. Close the browser first, and all copies of the browser engine in Task Manager. (Yup, they can still be running and just hanging out without appearing on your screen. Remember...the GUI lies.) Second, try a different brand of browser. Does Lastpass still fail under Brave? (insert your favorite alternate browser here). If Lastpass had a systemwide issue, it would be Major news so look locally first. In a way is better anyway because you have some control locally. For anyone else that is trying to solve this issue, uninstalling the LastPass extension from Chrome, quitting and restarting Chrome, and re-installing the extension fixed the issue for me.

This is an ongoing issue.
- Open Preferences in Safari and select the Extensions tab
- Select LastPass in the left-hand column.
- Click "Uninstall" and confirm it
- Go to https://lastpass.com/misc_download2.php?tab=mac#maclpmacosx
- Scroll down to "LastPass for Safari" and click on "Download".
- Go to your downloads folder and double-click on
lastpass.safariextz. - Safari Extensions Preferences should open with a dialog box stating "Would you like to install ..."
- Click on "Install from Developer" in the dialog box.
- A dialog box will appear stating "Are you sure you want to install the extension LastPass..." and click on "Trust" in that dialog box.
- LastPass will now show in the left-hand column of the Extensions Preferences and it will show that the version is 4.9.0.37.
- A new Safari tab or window will open and at the bottom will be a "Log In" link. Click on it. This may not leave you logged in, but at this point you should be able to log in as you normally would.
- You can then go to LastPass Preferences and set the preferences to your own liking.

I've contacted Lastpass's support and they told me this is a known issue and will be fixed in the version 4.17...
