January 31, 2025 - I haven’t broken it in the years that we have been using this file cabinet but I am also careful not to grab it there. I don’t use it on a daily basis but I do open and close it fairly often and it’s held up just fine. The Gallant from Ikea has a cut out in the drawer for the inset handle that I didn’t use.
