Have you blindly purchased a latex mattress online and been happy with it enough to not return it?
i hated my latex mattress until i got the right bed frame
Does anyone own one of those 'bed in a box' memory foam mattresses? What are your thoughts on them?
Best Bed in a Box?
My wife and I need to replace our ~13 year old memory foam mattress and for a few reasons I think latex is the way for us to go. I haven't been able to find any local retailers that carry latex for us to try, so if I order one online I'll be going into this blind. Each of the sites have the calculators that suggest a model based on weight, sleeping position and other preferences. Also, many have salespeople that will help guide you through the process. However, making a buying decision for a mattress that I haven't tried seems like a risky proposition. I really don't want to order, decide I don't like it and send it back only to go through the exact process again. Most sites will let you replace individual layers to get the feel you want, but I don't want to go through that hassle if I can avoid it.
Soooo.....has anyone been in my shoes? Did you get it right the first time?
PS: shout-out to FloBeds. You can order samples from them; I should get mine later this week. They are on my short list.
