i am looking at a sofa set to buy for my mom. after a couple recommendations, we went to both stores to look around. (located in washington state. needs to be a physical location so we can sit down to check them out)
right off the bat, it was obvious LazBoy was more expensive. for less features.
is there a big quality difference or something?
generally speaking, which quality is better? and how is Ashley's? (For ashley's we were looking at the Leesworth collection. For LazBoy looking at the Mackenzie Sofa)
it seems like Lazboy is 50/50 on reviews. and many say Ashley's is bad.
the household doesnt have any kids or pets. so no one will be jumping on it or smashing down on it.
Will Ashley's sofa just naturally breakdown and cushions become soft really quick?
I am shopping for a comfortable couch for myself and came across an amazing piece at the La-z-boy store that is called the "Devon" sectional. Well, i do a bit of looking online and i find that Signature by Ashley has the same exact model but titled "Coats", and then so does England Furniture under the title "Seneca Falls".
What would be the difference between these? I hate to buy the most expensive one if they're all the same components and cushions.
I’ve always had a very high opinion of La-Z-boy sofas and recliners because as a kid my uncle had one and I always thought it was the best couch ever, so comfy and cushy.
I’m about to buy my first set (the brooks series reclining sofa) as an adult but was curious on this subs thoughts/opinions.
IMO way better and not that much more than rooms to go or Ashley. I kinda think those places make cheap furniture.
Any thoughts/opinions or do you have any brand alternatives?
Edit: We ended up going with la-Z-boy! We shopped around about six or seven other places, and the couches did not feel anything as comfortable as the lazy boys
