What are you wanting to cook with it? I find that is more of the determining factor. Oval makes more sense if you do a ton of roasting. However if you are going to want to make a whole bunch of stews and soups and sauces on top of your oven then round does make more sense, I found that I can cook bread easily and either one, so I’ve never factored that into deciding on a shape More on reddit.com

Can you please help me decide? I’m finally investing in a large Dutch oven for holidays, and I’m not sure which size/shape to get. I routinely have between 15-25 people for holidays. Does anyone have thoughts? Are the largest sizes too heavy to lift when they’re full?
