They are slightly cheaper (sticker price) for things like their cast iron/stoneware but they will also run sales that are usually deeper than their website. An example is that their heart cocotte in 2qt has a suggested price of $235.00. Their sticker says the outlet price is $212.00. They also ran a sale that said the heart cocotte was 25% off. Bonus all around, right? If you are looking for a specific piece, give the outlet a call and they can assist you with regards to their inventory. I'm not sure if they all do this but the one I go to also ships (they base it on the $ spent, not the weight). Hope this answers your questions and happy hunting for your first piece. r/LeCreuset on Reddit: How good are the outlet deals?

I really want to start investing in a few LC pieces but there are no le creuset outlets in Canada (to the best of my knowledge)

Fortunately I live pretty close to the US border and was considering driving into Washington state to go to an outlet. However, it is a 1.5-2hr drive one way so I’m wondering if it is worth the trip down.

r/LeCreuset on Reddit: Le Creuset Outlet Help
September 21, 2025 -

I am new to the Le Creuset world and looking to buy my first piece. I have 2 outlet stores near me so yesterday I shopped around to see what would be the best fit for my household. I usually cook for 3 people but do like to host so thinking something within the 4-5 people range. Initially I thought about a brasier, but a Dutch oven would be nice for soup/stew. The sales associate then pointed me to the wide oven. I think the wide oven would be a good option, but I wasn’t ecstatic about the classic vs signature. In the back of the picture you can see they had 2 signatures, each at $258, while the classic is $232. The sales associate wouldn’t look for other colors at other outlets but I’m curious if there are any employees here who would look in the system? Located in the DMV area current but know outlets will ship if you ask them to.

Hi all, just wanted to give everyone a heads up about the outlets…I went yesterday and the saleswoman was able to order an artichaut 5.5 round Dutch oven (signature) with outlet pricing, so I ended up paying $285 (25% off plus an extra $30 off coupon she had). I know some people are hesitant since the outlets may not carry your colors, but with them being able to order items, it really changes the game! The outlet I went to was at the North Georgia premium outlets, but it seems like they can all do this.

r/LeCreuset on Reddit: Outlet Quality vs Retail

I’ve read in the past (and seen on this sub) that outlet pieces may not be made with the same quality that are at other retailers (William Sonoma, Sur La Table, etc.). Is this true? Or is this the classic vs signature debate? Looking to purchase a round 7.25 Dutch oven and noticed the price at the outlet was noticeably cheaper than retail and wondered if it’s “too good to be true”. Do the outlet-only colors have any bearing on quality either?

Are the Le Creuset outlet pieces the same quality as the "standard" line you would get at Williams Sonoma or Costco? I know some of the outlet pieces have plastic knobs instead of metal/stainless stel, but what about the handles? They seem a bit thiner in the outlet version than in the store. Anyone here own both types of pieces? Thanks!

I got an impulse to have a 3.5Q braiser over the weekend, but want to make sure I’m not being too impulsive and overpaying. I think I want flame which is out of stock on amazon ($309) and bed, bath and beyond (20% couoon would’ve been nice). It’s $300 on Williams Sonoma, but I can’t find any of the usual percent off discount codes that’ll work.

There’s an outlet store 30 miles away, but it’s a big, crowded place in one of the areas with higher virus transmission. Can anyone tell me what kind of prices to expect if I venture to the outlet? Are the items in outlets seconds? Are they discounted beyond the usual retail channels?

r/LeCreuset on Reddit: Best time of year to purchase Le Creuset?
July 8, 2023 -

I’m finally ready to splurge on my first $$$ Le Creuset purchase (so far all I own are mugs from TJ maxx lol).

As an educator, I’m wanting to make sure I’m able to really stretch my dollar to get the basic pieces for my collection. I noticed a lot of stores are doing “Black Friday in July” sales to compete with Amazon prime day, and it got me wondering whether there are known sales for Le Creuset? Is purchasing at an outlet worth it, or are there concerning defects? Is there any difference purchasing from somewhere like Wayfair or Williams Sonoma versus LC directly? I’m in Utah, so there aren’t really any outlets, but I’d be willing to take a road trip if it was worth it.

If you want to stretch your money as far as possible, you can purchase a well taken care of piece off the internet. There's also the FTT sales if you want to wait to see when and where it is. Those FTT sales can have pieces that are hard to find in your area. If you buy new, you have a few options: Outlet: Primarily sells the classic line that is typically a bit cheaper and they often have sales. Downside, the classic line typically has smaller handles and less heat resistant knobs on lids. LC Online: Primarily sells the signature line that is more pricy but has a few classic pieces. Signature line has larger handles and more heat resistant knobs. If you buy multiple items, you may be able to get promo codes to work like BUILDASET. TJ MAXX/Homegoods/Marshalls or other brick and mortar discount stores: I've seen they typically have classic line items that are frequently factory seconds (will have a black mark at the bottom). Less options in color but often the flaws are hard to see. Online Stores: Sometimes there's store exclusives that are sold at full price (ex: Williams Sonoma Honeycomb Pot). Some sites have occasional discounts (HSN/QVC). Be careful of any sales that seem too good to be true (typically scams).

I’m going to give you contrary advice: Don’t gnash your teeth trying to find the best deal. If there is a piece/color you want really want, buy it! I bought my first LC - a cassis DO - full price - and I could have waited around for a deal, but being able to have that piece was much better that constantly price matching and figuring out when/where I could get the best deal. Also- note that when a piece goes on sale at LC.com that piece is often on sale for the same price at WS/SLT/CB and they also have different/exclusive colors.
