Hey there! So I'm becoming more aware of my lack of skills and want to really dive into data analytics. I'm a 30 year old professional that is looking for a beginner data analytics certificate program. Does anyone have suggestions for a course I can take online? Once again, this is for a beginner- I just learned how to make a pivot table for perspective.

I’m in the same boat! This is what I’ve been doing so far which seems to be working out so far. First, I started with the free SQL lesson in DataCamp to get my feet wet since I wasn’t sure if Data Analyst was meant for me. After enjoying the free lesson, I decided to take the Google Data Analyst Course on Coursera. It took me about a month of completing. It’s definitely worth investing your time in as this essentially is a meta course and will talk you through what it’s like to be a data analyst. After this, I’m working on my portfolio, including the case study that was offered through the Google course. Once finished with that, I’m looking into solidifying SQL and Tableau skills either through Datacamp, Dataquest, or through free help by watching videos on YT or khanacademy.
