Bathroom light fixtures - integrated LED vs bulb?
Bathroom Lighting - Just added two LED can lights at 4000K lumens Cool White - Seems a little bright
It's 2021, how's the state of LED light bulbs?
Why do you think it isn't safe to keep them? Because of stuff like this: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/cfl-light-bulbs-soft-attack/ ??
Just change to LED's as your CFL's fail over time. That's actually the more frugal way and more ecologically friendly way.

Basically the title. I’m a big fan of ikea lamps and have them for years, however if you use them in bathroom they die in like 4-6 months. After opening one of them it turns out that they have very bad sealing inside so water/steam gets inside and causes corrosion. So looking for some other brand
What's the deal with these integrated LED wall lights? I don't understand getting a hardwired fixture that can't have a bulb changed if it happens to die (yes even after 50,000 hours) - is this really what everyone is doing these days?
I can't fathom having to change out four light fixtures in six years if the LED light happens to crap out.
What am I missing about the appeal?
