I was doing my weekly thrift store scrounge and I came across and bought an old Lee Storm Rider Jacket. It looks to me like it has hardly been worn at all. I've been wanting a lined denim jacket for awhile now, and finding this vintage piece will more than satisfy my needs.
Can't wait to fade this. For curiosities sake if anyone can help age this, that would be great.

I’ve been collecting/buying/selling vintage Levi’s and Lee jackets for about 3 years. For whatever reason Levi’s type 3 trucker jackets have more age indicators than Lee Ryders, with big E, little e, single stitch, double stitch, 2 pocket, 4 pocket etc. helping to indicate year of manufacture. Lee jackets are less easy to age. From blogs and articles I’ve read, for the “modern” Lee jacket (post WWII), the black tag on the pocket flap appears to be a prime age indicator. Yours has LEE, R, and MR embroidered on it indicating ‘70s or later. Just LEE = pre 60’s, LEE and R = 60’s, LEE, R and MR = 70’s or later. The Heddel’s link (posted by ColouredFlowers) indicates otherwise concerning the “R” on the tag. I’d be inclined to go with that. Great find! My personal experience with the Lee Riders and Storm Riders is that they are even shorter than Levi’s jackets. If you tuck in your shirts and wear your jeans at the waist (true cowboy style) you’ll love this jacket. I wear tails out and jeans on the hip so as much as I love the Lee heritage Riders and Storm Riders I’ve had a hard time integrating them into my wardrobe as the hem appears to hang near the middle of my back. That said, I’ve got two awesome Lee fleece lined denim chore coats that I thrifted on eBay that are the same denim and stitching, but hip length, that I’ll never part with. Have fun breaking your jacket in, brother!
