So about a year ago I have bought Lenovo Yoga 7i after my Surface Pro of three years tragically died of a collision with concrete.
After one month, the screen got bent. This is particularly visible when it is closed, the left side is fine but the right side cannot shut fully. I only used it as a tablet like four times throughout that period. Guess not so 2-in-1.
The touchpad randomly stops working. Certain areas just become completely unresponsive and the cursor just strides when using the non-dead areas. This is a power issue because bending the computer to the tablet mode and then back solves the issue.
Minijack. One of the ears does not work unless the plug is pressed down by something heavy. At first I thought that my headphones just have a defect where they are like .5mm smaller than they need to be but this is actually a problem with all headphones. This has gotten so bad that I have to spend like 20 minutes before listening to anything on my laptop just to find a position where both ears work.
Bluetooth. Straight up only works in a 1 inch^3 space in front of the keyboard. This makes using bluetooth mice or headphones impossible.
USB port. One of three ports died after two months of usage. I was using it to plug flash-drives occasionally.
Thermal paste. After about half a year of usage I noticed that my processor heats up a lot, so I disassembled the computer to take a look at what is going on inside. The thermal paste was dry. AFTER HALF A YEAR!
Screws. When I was disassembling the laptop to replace thermal paste, I found out that two screws on the bottom were missing. Probably fell off without notice. I have not disassembled it before then.
Buttons. Delete button came off a month ago.
I bought this computer because I was on a tight budget and it seemed to have good reviews and specs. DO NOT BUY THIS SCAM. By the time serious issues started taking place, I could not return in.
