Full title and basic specs: Lenovo - IdeaPad 1 15" FHD Laptop - Ryzen 5 7520U - 16GB Memory with 256GB SSD Storage - Abyss Blue.
I got this laptop for about 325 USD after taxes and shipping. For the specs I felt like it was a steal, performance wise this completely laps my 2017 i5 Surface Pro . No surprise there, and this is quicker to boot as well. But man if you are considering buying this model let me tell you about its screen. It's probably the worst screen I have ever owned. My 2010 Toshiba I bought about 15 years ago. Had a better screen than this laptop. I will post an image on the drastic color depth or lack thereof. In this image the laptop is on the left and 13+ year old Acer monitor on the right (no HDMI inputs, running it through an adapter). At the current price of this laptop I would steer clear from it, at the 300 bucks I paid for it.I would understand their are compromises. At 580 to 600 bucks no way should a 13+ year old monitor have better color depth than a 2024 laptop. The picture shows it a bit but in person it's horrendous. Having them close to each other the screen looks foggy and has a washy look to it. I find it unacceptable at at its msrp and I would look else where.
