I am afraid it is more a hardware-related issue rather than a software-related issue. If your laptop is still under warranty, it is best to return it to the store. If not, contact the manufacturer's support services to provide you with accurate steps to fix it.
If you are comfortable of doing so, you can disconnect all attached devices to the laptop, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. After that, turn it on.
If it does not work, open the laptop cover and remove the battery, then plug the charger and turn it on. Does it work?
Also, ensure the RAM sticks work fine. Remove and reseat them carefully.
If you do not want to troubleshoot the hardware, it is best to take it to a repair shop for hardware checks.

I removed the battery and plugged in the charger. The power light started blinking and I screwed the battery back in. The power light stayed on for a bit and the shut off. This continued for a few seconds until it stopped turning on. The charging light however, stayed on the entire time. I'm not sure what could be the issue giving that I haven't had this laptop for even a year yet.
