So I am in need of a laptop for uni, and was looking at the IdeaPad 5 Pro 14 Ryzen 5 5600U version, and on paper it seems like an awesome price-performance value multimedia laptop buuuuut... After doing some more research I've discovered the horror stories of bad quality, unreliable consumer-grade laptops dying within a short amount of time or failing right after warranty ends, paired with the notoriously bad Lenovo customer support made me second guess my choice.
Is that just people being unlucky or general consumer laptop "risk", or is there a more underlying problem with this line of Lenovo laptops...
Should I rather choose a ThinkPad if I want more reliability, are recent ones worth it? Is the price increase worth it? I am in serious doubt over here
My first Gaming Laptop! Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 (2022 one) - Ryzen 5 6600H -3050 Ti - 16GB DDR5 - 1TB SSD : GamingLaptops
Just bought a Lenovo Ideapad 3, model 15ITL6 for business. Did I make a mistake?
Which laptop should I buy? Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i or Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro
If you do video editing, programming etc., something requires CPU power, for slim 7 pro. It is for content creators, productivity work. Better screen and CPU, better looking and premium feel.
If you are looking for a daily computer to play games sometimes, go for Idea pad. It is for regular users, students etc. MX450GPU is like Gtx 1050, meaning it will run every game up to now. Including cyberpunk on low settings.
