Sorry for adding another ‘should I buy’ post. I know very little about computers but have read a lot regarding what might be the computer to suit my needs.

Needs - Work will involve all cloud based softwares (account work). My main worry is not being able to handle all the cloud based software and programs (as all programs are held on the cloud).

Currently looking at the X1 Carbon Gen 12. i7, 32 gb ram, no need for large storage as everything’s on the cloud and at times I am stuck working outside while traveling for work. I think some models have anti glare screens. I am leaning away from OLED to have improved battery life etc.

Main question - what price point is good for this type of device (and if you recommend a different device for travel and cloud based work, what price point should I aim for?).

Outside of my needs, what is your favorite device used for work or personal? Is the Gen 13 (or equivalent) really worth the extra price?
