I'm confused. Under normal use, you hold 'shift' and press the 'i' key. I don't go out of my way to change fonts for normal usage, so whether it's using a serif font or not is *shrug*. Or are you asking about handwriting? For that, it probably varies by age and region, I'd use a serif font, personally, but I also know plenty of people who don't. More on reddit.com
