There are definitely mid to high rise pants out there, especially in the raw denim world.
You might have better luck if you broaden your search beyond the mall brands, which typically cater to the masses, who would rather not have mid or high rise waists.

I don’t get how people have such issues with different rise lengths. All pants are meant to have a comfortable but not too loose fit in the crotch. If your balls are being crushed by low rise pants, you’re wearing them too high. If high rise pants look like drop crotches, you’re wearing them too low. And if your pants are too tight or loose in the waist to be worn at the correct comfortable height, than you’re wearing the wrong size. More on reddit.com
