I’m ready to spend up to $2.5K, and I’m looking for the largest full-depth French-door fridge I can find (36" wide, 70" high)—not counter-depth. I’d prefer one without ice/water in the door, but I’m open to it if the reliability is solid.
The frustrating part? There’s no clear winner. Every brand has fans and horror stories.
Here’s what I’ve gathered:
LG – Great features and smart tech, but I keep seeing concerns about compressor reliability.
Samsung (considering the Bespoke) – Love the design and size, but there are tons of complaints about the icemaker.
GE / Whirlpool / KitchenAid – Mixed reviews overall, but maybe the safer long-term picks?
I’ll probably buy from Costco (I’ve got a sizable gift card), so any experience with fridges sold there would be really helpful. I love their delivery, haul-away, and warranty perks—but I still want something that lasts.
If you’ve had one of these for a few years and still like it, I’d love to hear about it. Thanks in advance!
