How does one dry only?

The LG Answers answer is correct. After you push the power button on, don't turn the cycle dial, leave it all lit up. Then just push the "Dry" panel "button" and it will cycle through your drying choices with every push.

Anybody else got one of these?! Honestly I feel like a complete fool for letting a salesman convince me it was a good investment.
In hindsight, that $2,000 would’ve been better spent on a decorative paperweight.
The only useful feature on the entire machine seems to be “Quick Wash” — paired with my legacy dryer which thank god I didn’t discard with my old washer.
If I incorporate the drying component at all, we are looking at a 5-6 hour ordeal for an average sized load. Literally nobody wants that…. And guess what? 6 hours from now I’ll bet you anything it’s still damp.
Any idea why this is? Are they all this crappy or did I get a lemon?
In my opinion it is a disgrace that companies release half baked technology.

Been using this machine for the last 6 months. And loving it… Energy/electrical usage is Pennies. Clothes come out clean and dry. I basically just do auto/AI wash and dry every time. Yes drying takes a bit of time … a full wash/dry cycle is usually 3-3.5hr but that’s never been an issue… make sure you’re not overloading the tub if your clothes are coming out still damp. It shouldn’t be more than 60-70% full, ideally even less. 6hr48 min for a cycle is wild. I’ve never had a cycle take that long lol

It’s supposed to take 5 ish hours. There’s no vent and it runs on 120v. Just takes longer to dry at the lower temperature. On the plus side it uses less electricity even with the longer cycles. Start a load before work or going to bed. I just got one. Some of my loads are damp and others are fine. My current theory is that thicker items are damp and it stops early. Not sure yet how to address. Edit to add. Clean the lint filter before each use. That can help a little.
