Hi @stuk · There's no reset button as such on the ice maker, only an On/Off switch. · If you haven't already done so, try turning it off, check that the ice bin is empty, wait a few minutes and then turn it on again and see if it now works OK. · Here's an image from the user manual (see p.32 onwards) that shows where it is located. · If still no good, here's the service manual see p.93-p.95 for how to troubleshoot the ice maker. ...it stopped making ice out of the blue, turns out the metal bar wasn't coming down.
Took forever to find the reset button, it's not obvious and it's a little chiclet sized button the same color as the rest of the unit. It took too long to find this pic: https://resetanything.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/lg-craft-ice-maker-reset-button-1024x512.webp?ezimgfmt=ng:webp/ngcb1
It reset, cycled back and forth a couple times, the bar came down, and I hear it taking in water like it normally does.

Thank you! I would not have seen that! I pushed thr button and heard a blip sound. However the bar did not move and I heard no other sound. Is there any may to see inside without removing? Maybe melted ice has blocked something. Seems an indicator should let you know what is wrong. So not too smart or planned obsolescence, despite smart and Ai.

Does this mean the motor is burned out? I turn it off then on it makes a single tone, and pressing the button for 3 secs does nothing. The tray is tilted upside down so it went halfway through it's cycle and stopped. No error codes. It's an LG lrfds3016s less then a year old.
