I just passed the P&C exam in Neb. Starting the life and health now. I use Kaplan online study course. The longer you take to complete any study course or guide, the less you’re going to retain. I took about a month the first time and just barely failed. RE-read the whole course in 5 days and went right in to take the exam and passed. It all made way more sense the 2nd time I read thru the course. Good luck.

I saw Kaplan has courses available, but those are outside of my budget currently. Is there anything free I can just download and study on my own with a practice exam so that I know what specifically to study?

Is remote work even something legit I can do with insurance? I genuinely know absolutely nothing about it other than the fact that I have car insurance 😂 I have plenty of customer service experience, but am just looking for something to allow myself some more free time with my family and be something I can do anywhere if I wanna move and travel around the state.

Apply for Progressive or the big insurance companies. They pay for all of your licensing, and state exams. They are also mostly remote. Once you've been in your role for a few years and can then decide if you want to move to an agency or go independent.

Keep an eye on the corporate career pages of the Hartford, Progressive, USAA, AllState, State Farm, Farmers, and Progressive. Just to name a few. As mentioned above, all of those companies have entry level positions where they will pay you while you train, and pay your licensing fees.
