What are the best third-party lightning cables on the market right now?
Tried saving money on a Lightning cable and learned the hard way. After a couple months, my iPhone started rejecting it with the usual “Accessory Not Supported” message. The cable also warmed up during use—not ideal.
I’m looking for safe and reliable cables that don’t cost $20+ each. Are there third-party brands that are actually worth it and certified (like MFi)?
Would love to hear what’s working for you.
I have a Logitech Crayon pen paired with my iPad, is there such thing as a lightning to lightning cable? Like both ends are lightning plugs. If so, where can I find one/ what are they called
Hey all 👋
I bought an Anker braided USB A to lightning cable a few weeks ago because my official Apple cables kept fraying.
Anker was the brand recommended to me however, the lightning end seems to be loose. If I nudge my iPhone the connection drops (very annoying as I use it in my car for GPS and once knocked, CarPlay switches off).
Is there an alternative brand I should go for instead? (I thought Anker was the go to brand)
Cheers!
I recently moved from Pixel 6 to iPhone 14 Pro. I need USB-A to Lightning and USB-C to Lightning cables, 2 of each. The official Apple ones are $17 each on Amazon and that seems unreasonable to me
Are there any other recommended ones? There are a lot of brands on Amazon that I've never heard of..
I'm looking for an Anker USB-C to Lightning cable that supports fast charging and is MFi certified for my iPhone. I've searched the Anker official store, but I'm so confused about which one to pick. Could anyone tell me which one is the best? Appreciate your help!
I’m looking for a sturdy, long-lasting cable to charge my phone with. I’ve ordered several different versions of multi-packs from Amazon and they never last longer than a month or two (I know, I get what a pay for, and product quality isn’t stellar in a four-pack for $13).
I prefer 10ft cables that are durable and don’t break the bank. Any recommendations?
I’m looking at Anker cables, so any feedback on those is appreciated as well.
Im embarrassed to say between my use (1 device) and my daughter (also one device), I’ve had to buy 10 lightening cables in the past year and only 1 is still working. I’ve bought different brands each time but none have lasted more than a few months before they either physically break or just stop working. Is the answer only to buy from Apple? Please no hate on our device choices. I really hate this waste of money and excess waste. Any brands that have worked for you? I do have an apple mag charger for my phone which has lasted a couple of years already.
People in the Apple subreddit are freaking out because apparently nobody has charging bricks with USB C. Little do they know that we've had them for years. Welcome to 2020.
All of my devices use USB-C except my AirPods and most of the people I know have iPhones. Are there any good USB-C to Lightning adapters I can get so I can still use my chargers? I've heard that adapters like that can be damaging for devices but I don't know if there's much truth to that.
What’s the best cable that has a split USB-C and Lightning? I’ve been looking on Amazon and a lot don’t seem to support CarPlay in the reviews. I have a IPhone 15 and my dad has a IPhone 13 so I need a split cable for the car on the rare occasion he takes it. I’m in Canada not USA so a lot of Amazon products from the USA I probably can’t get. Thanks!
Hey there, can anyone plz suggest me the best iPhone cable, cause my original one is tourn. I have total three iPhone which has lightning cable & one has type C, I have seen many products on Amazon but none of them was relevant, they seem fake so really confused which one to order but I want Apple certified.
I am looking for a new lightning cable that is durable and charges fast. mine keep breaking at the joint between the cable and the lightning end. Any suggestions appreciated! Picture of my current charger shown:
I'm trying to find a USB-A to Lightning cable to charge an iPhone while using it, to replace an old 1m Apple cable that's too short.
If I search on Amazon, all I get are Ankers, Amazon Basics and random Chinese crap. In my experience, the Anker Powerline is way too thick and stiff, unpleasant to use. I ordered an Amazon one because they've been fine in the past, but the new one is much thicker, just like the Ankers. I won't buy random generic Chinese cables due to possible fire hazards.
Apple made a 2m cable but it's apparently discontinued, and it was expensive.
Does anyone make a cable that's reasonable thin and flexible, like they all used to be? It doesn't have to be as flexible as the Apple cables, just reasonably so, not one of these firehose monstrosities that I'm seeing now. I'f prefer non-braided if possible, and white or gray.
(I might consider a USB-C cable if there's a good one, but that would require buying a new charger. I'm using an old 5W USB-A brick partly because I prefer to charge slowly and hopefully extend the battery lifetime.)
