I' miss having the same issue. If you go into setting and test your network speed, it asks for the code. That's the only place I've found to input it so far. IT WORKED!!!

For the past few months, the A&E app for Apple TV has not permitted us to sign in to our TV providers because, when we open the app and go to Settings, it does not provide a verification code needed to authenticate with a a provider. instead, the code field only shows 7 dots. When we push refresh, it still only shows 7 dots. The bug remains in the latest app version, 5.12.3 dated 17Dec23. The same problem also exists with the History and Lifetime apps for Apple TV.
Have other Philo subscribers run into the same problem with those three apps for Apple TV?
